Classical Concert

An evening of delightful classical music, featuring the Toy Symphony, 'The Last Rose of Summer', and Mozart. Performance by Serenata Ensemble and St. Lawrence Academy.

GFest's Classical Concert is proudly brought to you by the musicians of the Serenata Ensemble, and accompanied by talented young performers from St Lawrence Academy School in Gnosall.

Serenata Ensemble comprises of musicians from renowned orchestras including North Staffs Symphony Orchestra, as well as the head of the Shropshire Instrumental Service; most of whom have strong local family connections with Gnosall.

The evening explores the composition and harmonies of classical pieces including Mozart's delightful 'Toy Symphony' and 'Musical Joke', and a composition of 'The Last Rose of Summer'.

As one of the highlights of GFest, Serenata promises to be a delightful evening of easy-listening (and sometimes humorous) classical music. It's the perfect way to enjoy some of the most celebrated musical works from the world of classical music.

Whether you are a lover of classical music or simply appreciate music at its finest, this is an unmissable event.  Suitable for all ages, tickets are £5 and accompanied children below 12 years old get in free. Refreshing drinks, light snacks and alcoholic beverages will be available at the bar.
